Glacial Drumlin State Trail
Popular amongst many outdoor enthusiasts all over this trail jogs approximately 52 miles from Waukesha to Madison area.
Located a mile south of I94 in the Town of Delafield. This ice age park is most notably known for it’s 45 foot high fire tower that provides views as far as Holy Hill. However, there’s plenty more family fun. A nature center for observation, in the summer months an outdoor musical stage and great trails for Biking, hiking, cross country skiing and even in some parts horseback riding.
Kettle Moraine State Forest (Southern Unit)
Approximately 37 miles southwest of Milwaukee sits this beautiful, expansive 22,000 acre park system. The Kettle Moraine offers endless family activity. Camping, fishing, hiking, hunting and an abundance of natural beauty. Typical hours : 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
